With the recent upturn in boat sales comes an increased need for boating education and the Los Angeles boat show is a great place to get your skills up to speed or brush up on your existing boating skills with hands on seminars and clinics. Tons of vendors will be on site showing off the latest in boating equipment, upgrades and of course boats and watercraft!

Show Highlights

  • Photos and Autographs of two wakeboarding legends brother Bob and Phil Soven from MTV’s wakeboard reality show “WakeBrothers”. Photo opps and Autographs available on Feb 8 from 1pm to 3 pm and 6pm to 8pm and on Saturday the 9th 11am to 1pm and 4pm to 6pm.
  • Seminars and hands on Clinic on Powerboating and Sailing. Check these links for the schedule Powerboat Events and Sailing Events.

    There are three sailing Clinics, “Introduction to Sailing”, “Coastal Cruising” and “Docking Under Power & Close Quarters Boat Control” and two sailing seminars. The first is a beginning class covering all of the essentials skills you will need to get you started. The second is an advanced class covering things like heavy weather tactics, advanced sail management, downwind sailing and docking under power.

    There are 4 power boating clinics the first covering close quarter powerboat handling, with others covering close quarters maneuvering, open water bat handling and seamanship and anchoring and multi vessel rafting.

    There are 2 powerboat seminars covering beginning and advanced power boating skills.
  • Interactive Learning with Fred’s Shed. Learn how to maintain your boat in top condition with hands on clinics and question and answer discussions.
  • Radio Controlled power boat docking challenge and competition.
  • ”Test drive” a kayak or stand up paddle board
  • Jack Fm Joins Hooters for Wing eating contest on Saturday the 9th
  • Bring your kids out to meet “Dora the Explorer” from Nickelodeon

Los Angeles Boat Show Tickets

Active Military Personel are free with a Military ID, and kids 15 and younger are free with an adult. Adults are $12.
