The inaugural Desert Classic historic Races will be held in conjunction with the Vintage Auto Racing Association (VARA) at the recently opened Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. This 2.7 mile track is the latest premier auto racing circuit in North America. VARA is the largest vintage racing organization in the country and is dedicated to the preservation of Historic and Classic race cars. Sports and formula cars from every era of motor racing will be on hand to compete in some 14 individual races throughout the weekend.
