are once again presenting the oldest running event in the world that highlights the 1953
through 1956 Ford F-100 pickups and panels. This edition marks 40 continuous years for this
popular run, and it is anticipated that this will be the best one yet.
For 2010 San Luis Obispo is where the run will be held, and Embassy Suites Hotel will be the

GENERAL INFORMATION
Participants may register on Friday or Saturday. Early registration available on Thursday as well.
Embassy Suites Hotel has a “Managers Reception” (happy hour) each evening, available to all event
participants staying at the hotel, as well as an “all you can eat, cook to order breakfast” each morning. There
will be a security guard posted in the hotel parking lot each night to watch over participants trucks. The hotel is
also providing all the materials needed and a wash area to wash the trucks throughout the day on Friday.
The city of San Luis Obispo puts on a Farmers Market/Street Fair each Thursday evening. There will be a
“Mystery Cruise” available on Friday morning, and “Hot El Camino Night” cruise on Friday Night.
Saturday’s Show-N-Shine will be in the parking lot of Embassy Suites Hotel.
This year’s event is the 40th Anniversary of the North-South Run. The run committee is making every effort to
locate and invite as many of the “old timers” from the early days of this event. If you know of someone in that
category, be sure to invite them to join us as well. We’re looking forward to renewing old friendships and
greeting old acquaintances.
Entries received after August 10, 2010, and those who register at the event will not receive a free T-shirt as
part of the entry packet. T-shirts and sweat shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
