Huntington Beach, Ca. 2010 brings the Silver Anniversary of this hugely successful Concours Car Show. In fact, it’s the absolute best Concours display in Southern California and situated on the beautiful lawns of the Huntington Beach Library.

Saturday’s “Hot Rods in the Park” will once again be Grand Marshalled by Fireball Tim, Hollywood Movie Car Designer and TV Host. Fireball’s car designs have graced more than 350 film, television and commercial projects and he’s currently the host of Discovery Channel’s “World’s Most Expensive Rides.”

“We’re really excited to have Fireball as host again this year,” says Bob Shaw, curator of the HB Concours. “It’s going to be the biggest year yet and we’ll even have racing!”

Bob’s right, because Fireball’s bringing racetracks from RIDEMAKERZ and his own DRAGTRACKS for kids. He’ll also be joined by Bogart impersonator John Tobin, celebrity car builders, a slew of Hollywood Cars from Star Car Central as well as filming his web series “World of Cars.”

“The HB Concours is fantastic because it really brings people together in a beautiful setting,” said Fireball at a recent show in Florida. “I’m grateful to be a part of it.”

On display for Saturday will be hundreds of Hot Rods, Customs, Classics, Exotics and Movie Cars along with food, live entertainment and Fireball’s “Best of Show” award. Sunday will sport Master of Ceremonies Dave Kunz from KABC-TV, Classics, Exotics, Motorcycles, a Student Art Contest and million-dollar Concours vehicles.

All proceeds are donated to the Huntington Beach Children’s Resource Center at the Central Library by the Huntington Beach Concours d’Elegance, a non-profit corporation.
